The Lexence story
It started with a simple challenge from my dad one summer: Get a job and get out of your comfort zone. But while he was thinking traditional employment, my mind was already racing with business possibilities.
I invested in everything I needed to start detailing cars and took the leap. I remember walking up to the biggest, most intimidating house I could find, heart pounding, finally mustering the courage to knock. I offered to detail their car for free just to prove myself.
Not only did they say yes, they insisted on paying me. They loved the work so much, they had me detail another car. That first conversation, that first relationship, changed everything.
Empowered by that success, I kept knocking on doors. Luxury homes with incredible cars and even more incredible people behind them. Each door I knocked on wasn't just about finding customers, it was about breaking out of my shell and discovering that the most amazing opportunities come from the most uncomfortable moments.
Today, I'm pursuing Electrical Engineering at Iowa State University while scaling Lexence from over a eight hundred miles away. It's a new challenge that's pushing me out of my comfort zone all over again.
Building a business remotely, managing operations from my dorm room, balancing engineering coursework with entrepreneurship. Just like that first door I knocked on, every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
